While I have worked at Murray State for many years as a design professor, it was only recently that I was invited to create branding for the Department of Art & Design. The department wanted an image that expressed that they are modern, a little funky, and especially inclusive. The geometric type, unusual ampersand, and nod to the pride flag all did that.
